We work across cultures and worldviews, together forging a new way forward.
In 2025 we are hosting two cultural exchange events:
July 2025 in the Brazilian Amazon: an immersion into the cultural practices, spiritual and environmental wisdom of the Amazonian wisdom holders of the Shanenawa tribe.
October - November 2025 in California: we are organizing and hosting a month of cultural exchange showcasing the rich traditions, art craft, and wisdom of the Brazilian Amazonian tribes through performances, talks, workshops, and interactive events.
We are supporting one social change project in a Shanenawa Village in the Brazilian Amazon
We are fundraising to run these beautiful cultural exchange programs as well as to support our programming so we can continue growing this work annually. Our fundraising goals are for 2025 operations and beyond.
We have a big vision for the next 50 years. Please inquire for more information.
Original Wisdom Holders
We take groups into the Amazon Rainforest of Brazil and Peru to connect with indigenous wisdom holders in their villages. These communities are the original stewards of the environment and hold rich cultural practices as well as wisdom for our modern thriving.
Sacred Reciprocity
In our model of Sacred Reciprocity, we learn and rise together. Bridging ancient wisdom and modern culture, we offer valuable wisdom, resources, and co-creative solutions to our shared global challenges.
Artcraft and Iconography
Through intricate iconography and traditional artcraft, the Amazonian wisdom holders share their stories and ways of seeing and sense making about the world. The rich heritage teaches us much about creativity, connection to nature, and community values.
Nature Connection
Connecting to and honoring the Earth is central to all of our cultural exchanges. The protection and responsible stewardship of the Amazon by its original peoples is at the forefront of our conversations and activities.
Gathering to Share Stories
During their visits to the United States, indigenous wisdom holders share their music, artcraft and unique way of seeing the world while also sharing about the beauty and importance of the Amazon Rainforest. All people involved get curious, learn and ideate together. This also helps donors connect to the impact of their donations.
Design with Nature
Visiting villages in the Amazon Rainforest shows us a plethora of skills and ideas such as simple, natural building designs and techniques either unknown or forgotten in our Western world. Sharing this knowledge can inspire design anywhere in the world. Moreover we often get to swap ideas and co-create some solutions to infrastructure, food system, or environmental challenges in the Amazon during our cultural exchanges. When we engage in these discussions, we almost always learn valuable skills and tools that can be applied back home as well. Together we share and create new pathways of living in harmony for our global community.
