Alma y Tierra is a non-profit organization that contributes to the preservation of the Amazon rainforest and the communities that interact with it. 

Alma y Tierra means Soul and Earth. 

We believe that by remembering our innate connection to nature, and that we are nature, our soul and the soul of the Earth will come back into alignment. From here, a beautiful future may bloom. 

We are cultivating a global community in key focus areas that affect our individual and collective health on a physical, emotional, and spiritual level. 

Mission: We connect people, landscapes and cultures through sustainable community solutions, immersive education, cultural gatherings, and spiritual events. 

Vision: We envision a world of resilient, heart-centered human beings with skills to form global community and create in harmony with Mother Earth. 

How We work:

At Alma y Tierra, we are co-creating a new future. A foundational pillar of Alma y Tierra is the Andean concept of Ayni, roughly translated as sacred reciprocity. This is not an organization with singularly directed impact; rather, we believe that all people involved must grow and improve together. 

When we say co-creating a new future together, we mean drawing on the ancient wisdom of indigenous, Amazonian wisdom holders to inform solutions to challenges in our modern, western, culture. 

In return, we partner with key leaders to fund sustainable solutions in the Amazon Rainforest villages so that these ancient cultures can continue to live and thrive as stewards of their culture and the environment within their indigenous territories.
